Hello Ashely,
It is likely that the Safelink Wireless customer service representative who assisted you misspoke/made a mistake when they referred to the free cell phone you would be receiving as an iPhone. Safelink Wireless provides basic cell phones to their customers.
my wife Kathleen resides in a nursing home and is on medicare and medicaid. she has had a cell phone from assurance wireless for the past few years. when he phone would no longer hold a charge, they sent her a smart phone that she can’t use because of her disabilities (stroke survivor, left side paralysis) I purchased a new battery for her old phone but it disconnects after a few seconds. Assurance wireless says they no longer have the old phones with a keypad. I was also told that if I got another phone that it would have to be a Virgin mobile phone. I don’t mind paying for the phone but can’t find any Virgin mobile phones . any suggestions, is there another company that offers free service like she gets from assurance wireless ? do we need to change companies, etc. she has been without her phone for about a month now. please help, thank you
